“I will never get a 7.5”

“I will never get a 7.5”

“I will never get a 7.5,” I heard one of the students say during their first class. Some others were concerned about obtaining scores between 5.5 and 6.5 during their first attempt at the IELTS exam, despite how hard they worked. It can be extremely discouraging to put in tremendous amounts of effort and not have that reflected in the scores.

At IELTS Medical, our tutors work day and night to ensure that teaching is tailored around a student’s individual needs. To aid learning, students who need additional help are booked onto one-to-one sessions with our experienced tutors. By placing no more than 4 students in a standard teaching session, the tutor is able to provide each student with the attention he/she requires.

Tailoring teaching sessions has proved to be successful so far – I am very pleased to announce that some of our students have had their results back, and guess what? They got the scores they needed to meet the GMC’s requirement. In fact, one of our students, Mr K, has scored an impressive 8.5 overall. His IELTS Medical experience will be available on the website shortly in the form of a testimonial.

Congratulations to everyone who received their scores recently and met the requirement. For those of you still waiting to hear back, I will have my fingers crossed for you! In the interim, if any of you thinks they cannot achieve the stringent score of 7.5, think again! At IELTS Medical, we believe in you, so its time you start believing in yourself.
